just wanted to share some...

Last year October I found these beauties on the Glossary. I'd seen them on the Mr. Price site and on Lucky Pony and fell in love with them! Only problem was, I couldn't find them at our local Mr. P and when I finally saw them in the Somerset West Mr. P, they didn't have my size. They also told me that they weren't going to get any more of them:(  So you can imagine my surprise when I found them on Glossary and in my size!!!
Yay for me!

the above photo is from the Glossary: blog shop

and now they're mine, hehehehehehe (wicked witch of the North laugh)

Thank you Lauren for sending me these even though you were on leave. I really appreciate it!

...in the the army...

Oh my gosh! I've had an awful week, we moved last weekend and I'm still unpacking. Then I fell sick, again! I had just gotten over the flu a week ago and now I feel ten times worse. Anyway, this morning I couldn't get up (on account of all the meds making me sleepy), then I was awoken by a rather large package held in-front of my face. David went to the Post Office and my package had arrived!
It was the ceramic planes and army men that Angie sent me for my shop, whoohoooo! These little guys are awesome, thank you Angie! Unfortunately one man was injured in transit.  These awesome ceramics were handmade for the Toffie exhibition in March. Twenty-four different people were invited to design on top of twenty-four tables and the brief was to make something inspirational. Being among the twenty-four, this is what Angie and her husband Sean came up with.

Isn't it amazing! It's just so creative! Click on the image above to see in context.

Wolves, YAY!!!

Friday 25 June, we went looking for Wolves Cafe and could'nt find it. I was terribly disappointed as we were moving to the Western Cape and I didn't know when I would get the chance to go there again. I checked on Wolves site again, posted a comment and got a reply from Angie(lucky pony) with the directions. We went back to Johannesburg for the last time on Friday 2 July and we found it!!!Yippee:-))

I really-really wanted a moustache in my hot chocolate with a slice of red velvet cake, yum!  The shop is sooo pretty and "homey". I love every little detail, the Wolves mugs and mixed antique plates and spoons... I love it, love it, love it!

We were greeted by friendly staff and I almost fell off my pretty chair when our waiter placed a Tree-level-red-velvet-cake on the table in front of me. It was delish! And although it was way too much for my tummy, I ate everything right down to the last crumb.

I first came to know of Wolves when I stumbled across Lucky Pony where I saw HelloFox, so it was quite obvious that I left Wolves with my own Fox... Happy as a Foxy:-P
