Outfit Love: After the Rain

Don't you just love those hazy rainy days? When it seems like it's gonna pour any second but only a few drops make their way down to earth. Dave and I went for a walk around the block and this hedge made for the perfect Outfit Love photo shoot.

-It was a lovely cool but not cold kind of a day, perfect for layering-

When the wind blew the water droplets came a splashing down, bottom left. My lovely feathery earrings are also from Mr. Price, birdcage necklace from Skermunkil, gemstone pendant from my grandmother and you probably know my Nomilk Today ring, right-

Outfit Love: Achives

Well, I found this lovely outfit photo that just had to be shared. We were invited to go to Dave's grandfather's 80th birthday last November and I really struggled to find something nice to wear. I went through every clothing shop in our little town... then I saw this lovely pair of floral trousers in a small local shoppy. This one item added to my wardrobe really expanded my outfit possibilities, it is quite versatile in that by adding accessories you can dress this outfit up or down. I really believe that you can do so much more with the clothes you already have if you add an interesting item which complements every other item you own.

• Heart Brooch - My Dad brought it back from England when he was there on business
• Birdcage Necklace - My favourite Skermunkil jewellery piece
• Sheer Blouse - from Mr. P off course
• Floral Trousers - From a small local shop here in Hermanus

Outfit love - love Autumn

Well, it wasn't that cold during the morning but I had to put my jersey on later. Our days are becoming colder by the minute, especially after the cold and rainy weekend we just had! I just love the changing of seasons!

• My lovely birdcage necklace from Skermunkil is really a work of art, I just love it!
• Florals & polka dots dress - this lovely vintage looking dress, I found in the maternity section at Mr. Price. I just couldn't leave it alone, besides, who says you have to be pregnant to where one of these? I say "rules are meant to be broken"!
• Resin & bone bangle, this one I bought while on holiday in the Natal. I always try to get something small as a token to mark certain times in my life.
• Wooden bangle, this one stood out when I visited my friend at Matchbox and it hitched a ride home with me.
• Ankle boots, these I got from Mr. Price last year, just as the winter ended. So I'm real happy  when I get a chance to where them.
